Application areas of PET high temperature tape

PET high-temperature protective tape is made of PET coated with acrylic rubber on both sides. The tape is typically transparent black, with common thicknesses ranging from 0.05-0.2 mm. It exhibits good dimensional stability, thermal stability, and chemical stability, excellent initial and residual tack, ease of die-cutting, and good adhesion to plastics, rubber, and nameplates. It has a long-term temperature resistance of 100-120℃ and is suitable for a wide temperature range and harsh environments.

Application areas of PET high temperature tape

PET high-temperature protective tape, also known as protective tape, is primarily made of flexible PET polyester film, coated on one side with high-performance silicone adhesive.

PET high-temperature protective tape is mainly used for surface treatment, shielding protection, electroplating, electrophoresis, ultra-high temperature coating, powder coating, and as a terminal electrode for chip components in high-temperature environments. It possesses excellent high-temperature resistance, high adhesion, re-peelability, and solvent resistance.

Applications of PET high-temperature protective tape:

1. Suitable for the protection of uncoated high-temperature powder coatings in computer cases and cabinets, and for the surface treatment of uncoated metals.

2. PET high-temperature adhesive tape protective film is also suitable for shielding and insulation during high-temperature coating of electronic products, automotive industry, and paint products.

3. It is used for fixing printed circuit boards, electronic components, resistors, and capacitors during production; shielding gold fingers during PCB immersion gold plating; immersion gold plating and anti-contamination in electroplating solutions; and shielding protection for gold plating on printed circuit boards.

4. In the home appliance, machinery, and electronics industries, where high-temperature coating protection is required, PET high-temperature adhesive tape protective film provides high-temperature adhesion and fixation.

5. PET high-temperature adhesive tape protective film can also be used for demolding seams.
